You can find Morgan Beck, 21, most Fridays walking the sideline at Jack Berry Field with her camera ready to capture the Dover Pirates football team in action.

“Football is my favorite sport to capture so you will most likely see me at all Dover football games on the sidelines this season,” she said. “I’m passionate about photography. I started my love for it way back in eighth-grade at Dover School District. My teacher, Sharla Hartzell, has a way of showing her students the art of photography and how to make an image tell a story. I started my own business four years ago, and I wouldn’t be where I am today without her. I enjoy taking sports photos more than anything because I love being able to share those memories with the community.”

Beck was born and raised in Russellville. She said she stays here because of everything the city offers her.

“It’s expanding, and I like knowing I’m here to watch it grow and succeed,” she said.

Beck graduated from Dover High School in 2016 and is currently a freelance photographer in the Arkansas River Valley.
